Calvin Nyachoti

Mr. Nyachoti is the Managing Partner of the firm. He has over 15 years experience as an Advocate of the High Court, a certified corporate secretary and practicing Arbitrator/Mediator and trainer.

Mr. Nyachoti is the Chairman, Kitengela International Schools, Director of the National Adoption Committee, Director CPS Governance Centre Limited, Founder Member and Director on the Women on Boards Network, Director of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators Kenya Limited and Trustee on the KNH Staff Retirement Benefits Scheme among others.

Mr. Nyachoti has in the past been the Chairman of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (Kenya Branch), past Chairman of Local Authority Pension trust (LAPTRUST), past Council member, Institute of Certified Public Secretaries of Kenya among other key leadership positions.

Mr. Nyachoti holds a Masters degree in Law (LLM) (University of Nottingham, UK), an MBA in Strategic Management (Daystar University), a Postgraduate Diploma in Law (KSL), a Bachelor of Laws degree (LLB) (Moi University), Studies in Public International Law (The Hague Academy) and Leadership and Team Skills (University of Stellenbosch, South Africa) among other qualifications.

Mr. Nyachoti has in-depth experience offering tailored legal solutions in diverse areas of practice including: Dispute Resolution; Corporate Governance; Employment and Pensions law; Insurance law; Capital Markets Law; Trust Law and Corporate Secretarial Services. He also has vast experience in Alternative Dispute Resolution having successfully handled various high profile commercial arbitrations, mediations and other forms of ADR both as a member and counsel as well as tutor and assessor of various premier training programmes.

Mr. Nyachoti has held various corporate positions among them as the Corporation Secretary and Director, Legal Services at the Kenyatta National Hospital and previously, served as Senior Legal Counsel at the Retirement Benefits Authority.

Mr. Nyachoti belongs to various Professional Membership and Certification among them: Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (CIArb.); Institute of Certified Public Secretaries of Kenya (ICPSK); Law Society of Kenya (LSK); East Africa Law Society (EALS); International Law Association (ILA); UK Institute of Management of Information Systems (IMIS) and is a registered Environmental Impact Assessment/Audit Expert.
